WASHINGTON DC NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER | GAITHERSBURG, MD NEWBORN SESSION

I absolutely loved photographing this beautiful couple & their newborn in their beautiful light-filled home in Gaithersburg, MD. They recently moved into their new home in the DMV from California and it was fun to showcase some of the details. This mother found my work on Instagram and decided to book me for her lifestyle newborn session. It was truly a delight from start to finish for this Washington DC Newborn Photographer.

Baby Dean was awake for the beginning of our session but the minute I swaddled him he fell fast asleep. His mom and dad were so in love and their love for each other and their newest addition was so evident from then start. Dean was two weeks old at our session & becoming much more alert with his eyes open. His mother wanted to capture this & I feel that we were able to do that.

This mother had her makeup professionally done & she looked flawless. I highly recommend professional makeup and/or hair for my sessions. It's one of the best things you can do to ensure your photos look flawless & you'll most likely feel more confident and that will show through in your photos. Plus it’s one last thing you’ll have to worry about the day of your session.

I also send out guidance on wardrobe & this couple did a beautiful job with following those recommendations.I always suggest starting from a neutral palate. Your babe should be the star of the show when it comes to the session, so dressing in bright colors or busy patterns often is distracting to the viewer.
