Washington DC Newborn Photographer - I have been eagerly waiting to share this beautiful in-home lifestyle newborn session on the blog! I absolutely loved photographing this beautiful couple & their newborn in their beautiful home in Arlington, Virginia. The mother found me through a connection on Instagram as she hadn't moved to the area yet when she inquired. And I'm so glad she did. It was truly a delight from start to finish & baby Naomie was just beautiful.
This mom and dad were so in love and their love for each other and their babe was so evident from the start. They were so calm, patient & gentle with each other and their sweet babe. It was so lovely & an honor to be in this space with them and their sweetest little mini golden doodle. named Millie. I also love their choice of wardrobe. I send out guidance on wardrobe before my sessions & this couple did a beautiful job finding outfits that fit my neutral, light & airy suggestions while still feeling like themselves.
The mother decorated & styled the nursery so beautifully & the light was pouring in through the windows. It was simply a dream. One of the many things that I love about in-home newborn sessions is that I'm able to capture my families in their every day environment. When I arrive at a session, I walk through the home & choose all of the areas throughout the home that have the best light and fit with my aesthetic and then I place the families in those spaces artfully. Their nursery and family living space worked perfectly for the majority of our session.
