Washington DC Newborn & Maternity Photographer - This beautiful couple booked me for both a Maternity & Newborn session. For their maternity session, they joined me at Teddy Roosevelt Island in Washington DC on a chilly early Spring evening. We were hoping for some more Spring color but with delayed cold temperatures, we ended up getting more soft, warm beautiful tones. They chose this location because they spent the first few years of their relationship living in a high rise in Rosslyn which is the backdrop that you see in these images just past the tree line. We had such a nice time together as we walked around the park getting to know each other. Can't wait to meet baby boy in the next couple of weeks.
I love when my clients book a maternity session before their baby arrives. It gives us an opportunity to get to know each other prior to babe's arrival. It is also such an important season that goes by so quickly. I know that it's an investment but I can attest to it's importance. Jessica’s goal is to make her client’s feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera, while capturing beautiful images filled with emotion and joy. Having children of her own and having taught in a Montessori preschool, Jessica is very good at engaging children and putting them at ease during her session.
