IN-HOME LIFESTYLE NEWBORN SESSION | WASHINGTON DC

Washington DC Newborn Photographer - I am so honored to share this recent light filled newborn session with you all! This mother reached out after her baby was already six weeks old & wanted to capture this "new" season. I was able to make room & schedule their session amidst my already booked schedule and I'm so glad I did! Baby Shira was two months old at our session. I typically photograph babies when their very sleepy at 7-12 days old but this stage was so much fun as babe was alert and enjoyed every minute of snuggling with her parents. I would happily welcome more photo sessions at this age. The baby acne is gone, mom and dad are in more of a routine, babies start to really look more like themselves at this age & at the same time still resemble their newborn selves. Baby Shira was absolutely beautiful. We had so much fun together.


This mother is an interior decorator & their home was decorated absolutely beautifully with large windows all around. It was so lovely & an honor to be in this space & capture this season for them. I also loved what they wore for their session. A neutral space & neutral clothing choices compliment my aesthetic well.

Washington DC Newborn Photographer

Jessica is a DC Newborn Photographer that also specializes in maternity and family lifestyle photography. Jessica’s goal is to make her client’s feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera, while capturing beautiful images filled with emotion and joy. Having children of her own and having taught in a Montessori preschool, Jessica is very good at engaging children and putting them at ease during her session.
