I had so much fun capturing lovely little Sloan during her in-home newborn session right outside of Washington DC. From the moment I entered her home, she was wide-eyed and very content in her parent's arms. Her furry sibling even joined in for some photos. Her home & nursery were filled with earthy tones, green plants and lovely little details. Mom and Dad were so in love with their newest edition. It was such a relaxed session throughout as you can see from the images. I like to play music at all of my newborn sessions if the parents are up for it. I've found that this makes for a relaxed and fun session. Sometimes I'll even ask if the parents want to dance and I'll snap away. I am so grateful that they chose me to be their DC Newborn Photographer and so grateful to have captured these moments for them.

Jessica is a DC Newborn Photographer that also specializes in maternity and family lifestyle photography. Jessica’s goal is to make her client’s feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera, while capturing beautiful images filled with emotion and joy. Having children of her own and having taught in a Montessori preschool, Jessica is very good at engaging children and putting them at ease during her session.
